Pray constantly.—1 Thess. 5:17.

Jesus prayed often throughout the last day of his life on earth. When he instituted the commemoration of his death, he prayed over the bread and the wine. (1 Cor. 11:23-25) Before leaving the place where they had held the Passover, he prayed with the disciples. (John 17:1-26) When he and the disciples arrived at the Mount of Olives that night, he prayed repeatedly. (Matt. 26:36-39, 42, 44) And the very last words Jesus spoke before dying were uttered in prayer. (Luke 23:46) Through prayer, Jesus included Jehovah in every major event on that momentous day. One reason why Jesus could endure his trial was that he turned to his Father in prayer. The apostles, on the other hand, failed to persevere in prayer that night. As a result, their courage weakened when the hour of test arrived. (Matt. 26:40, 41, 43, 45, 56) When we face trials, we will remain faithful only if we follow Jesus’ example and “pray continually.” w19.04 9 ¶4-5

Sometimes when we face problems related to our lives as Christians, we may feel hesitant about approaching friends to ask for help. Especially if it is related to the same old issues. But with Jehovah, He never tires of listening to  our prayers for help. And with each progressive prayer towards Him, we can sense Jehovah's  loving care more and more as we draw closer to Him, the God of tender mercies.

Of course we also need to make adjustments in our lives to align them with what we have learned from the Bible.

When my partner and I arrived in a new assignment as pioneers, we had only a few vegetables, a packet of margarine, and no money. We finished up the food for supper and said, ‘Now we have nothing for tomorrow.’ We prayed about it, and went to bed.

Early next morning a local Witness called and introduced herself, saying, ‘I prayed that Jehovah would send pioneers. Now I can accompany you most of the day, but since I live out in the country, I will have to eat lunch with you, so I have brought this food along for all of us.’ It was a large quantity of beef and vegetables. I always tell my students that Jehovah never leaves us if we seek his Kingdom first.”—Matthew 6:33.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Pressures and problems are multiplying in these “last days,” marked by ‘critical times hard to deal with.’ And trials can easily preoccupy our minds. Our incessant prayers, however, will help us to keep our lives on a spiritual course despite persistent problems, temptations and discouragement. Our daily prayers to Jehovah can provide the vital support we need.

Prayer is the one thing that can't be taken away from us, ever. So we can maintain our close and personal relationship with Jehovah even when under trail in our daily lives... under persecution or in a prison cell.

Even without literature we can still talk to Jehovah... which is why its vital to build our friendship with him now and not wait until the future.

Friendship and relationships can only be gained through communication,  we need a two way conversation in order to get to know someone, and this is what prayer provides for us.

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.
